La Folie is a patisserie in Mumbai, India. The patisserie's menu is heavily laced with the language owing to chef and owner Sanjana Patel's seven years in France learning pastry-making. Patel has studied under such demi gods of French pastry as Pierre Herme, Olivier Bajard, and Jean Charles Rochoux and then worked at Michelin-decorated establishments like Alain Ducasse Au Plaza Athenee in Paris.

"La folie" in French translates to madness, insanity, or folly in English.

Each dessert is presented as an artful object. Her keen eye for detail and her passion makes her desserts and chocolates take you away to another place. The closed eye portrays a dream, a journey, an experience that one feels when they bite into the desserts and chocolates. "Surrender Yourself'

The identity is a closed eye with stunning photography, marble painting and illustrations as the graphic elements. The eye is unique in the standard world of patterned patisserie designs, giving the ability to make the graphic elements dynamic.
